8 Easy Dog Treats You Can Make at Home

8 Easy Dog Treats You Can Make at Home

It's only natural to include your four-legged friend in practically every daily activity. After all, the company of a dog is often more welcomed than a human when it comes to long walks, trips to the store or afternoon naps.

The only time where you may operate independently is mealtime since many human foods are unhealthy for pets and humans certainly don't want to cozy up to a bowl of Kibbles 'n Bits. That said, there are a handful of common ingredients that pooches and people can enjoy together (and even share!) in the form of a delicious treat.

We've rounded up eight of our favorite recipes, chock-full of healthy and, most importantly, flavorful components that will have tails wagging and lips smacking. Remember, it's always best to check with your pet's veterinarian before introducing any type of new food into their diet. And keep in mind that too much of anything can be detrimental and could lead to serious gastrointestinal issues. (These are treats and not meal replacements, no matter how much your dog may beg.)
