The finding comes from a survey conducted by system design interview prep experts System Design School, which analyzed job listings on Glassdoor to determine the most mentioned tech-specific skills.

Following Microsoft Office, software troubleshooting emerged as the second most in-demand skill, appearing in 5,981 job posts. Microsoft Excel ranked third, required in 5,137 job listings. Rounding out the top 10, Active Directory was mentioned in 3,330 job posts.

The impetus behind the study was to identify the most in-demand tech skills that employers are seeking in the current job market.

By analyzing job listings on Glassdoor, the research aimed to provide insights into the specific technical skills essential for professionals to enhance their employability and career growth.
