Command the land, sea and sky in this Fire Emblem-style turn-based tactics game. It's been three years since the queen of Aurania died, and now a foreign faction is uncovering forbidden technology on the shores. It's up to you and a cast of new characters -- including a dog in armor who is just the best boy -- to stop these factions from wreaking havoc across the land.
Available: Sept. 20
This city-building survival game asks you to make the tough decisions needed to ensure your community survives in an arctic apocalypse. Set 30 years after the events of the award-winning Frostpunk, you play as the Steward, who takes control of the city after the Captain -- the original game's player character -- dies. The city is struggling with overpopulation, food and coal shortages, among other issues. It's up to you to build enough shelter and provide enough food for everyone while dealing with the factions vying for power. This game is only available to subscribers on PC, which includes PC and Ultimate Game Pass subscribers.
Available: Sept. 24
Get ready to build and lead a nation in this turn-based grand strategy game. You can explore unique territories and biomes, develop your own culture and arts, and conduct diplomacy with other nations. If diplomacy fails, you can carry out strategic warfare. You can also download this game now, so it's ready to play on Day 1. And this game is only available to subscribers on PC -- meaning you'll need a PC Game Pass or Ultimate subscription to play.
While Microsoft is adding those three games to Game Pass, it's also removing nine others on Sept. 30. That means you still have some time to finish your campaign or any side quests before you'll have to buy these games separately.
