The Toffees battled back from being a goal down to beat fellow strugglers Crystal Palace 2-1 at home last Saturday -- a result which lifted the Merseysiders out of the bottom three.
They come up against a Newcastle side which could climb into the top four with a win today, having held defending champs Man City to a 1-1 draw last weekend.
Everton take on Newcastle on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Goodison Park, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. BST local time, making it a 12:30 p.m. ET or 9:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and an 2:30 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Sunday morning.
