Apple's new iPhone 16 series, announced at the company's live event on Monday, means buyers will soon be looking for protective cases for their fancy new phones. Beats, Apple's music-focused subsidiary known for its headphones and earbuds, is now getting into the business of dressing up iPhones.
The stone-colored Beat iPhone 16 cases features a bright interior.
Beats/AppleBeats' new line of cases is designed to work with the iPhone 16's special features, combining a scratch-resistant polycarbonate hardshell back with flexible sidewalls and microfiber lining on the interior.
The cases come in Midnight Black, Summit Stone, Riptide Blue and Sunset Purple. Contrasting interior colors match the colorful aesthetic for which Beats is known.

The cases support the iPhone 16's buzzy Camera Control capability by using "a sapphire crystal coupled to a conductive layer that communicates finger movements." Built-in magnets allow the case to be used with MagSafe wireless charging. The cases cost $49 and are available for all variations of the iPhone 16 through the Apple store online.
The new Apple phones will be available for pre-order Sept. 13, and available in stores as of Sept. 20.
