BEver Wonder What a Krabby Patty Tastes Like? You Can Try One Soon at Wendy's

If you're one of the millions of late-90s or early-2000s babies who have wondered what a Krusty Krab Krabby Patty tastes like, you're in luck. Wendy's is adding it -- along with a Pineapple Frosty -- to its menu starting on Oct. 8 for a limited time.

The fast-food chain, Paramount and Nickelodeon are teaming up to celebrate 25 years of "SpongeBob SquarePants" with the release of two new menu items. "The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger is Wendy's take on the most coveted recipe in all of Bikini Bottom," the chain announced in an Oct. 2 press release.

After two and a half decades of not knowing what makes up the Krabby Patty, now we know. Wendy's Krabby Patty will feature a quarter pound of beef, two slices of melty American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and a top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce on a toasted premium bun, according to the release. The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty will be a Vanilla Frosty with "pineapple mango flavored puree swirl."

The two limited-time items will be available to order nationwide in person and on the Wendy's app starting on Oct. 8 (but don't tell Plankton.)

Are we planning to try them? You bet your square pants we are, and we plan to report back with our full review.
